Hidson Exhibit

Work by artist Pat Hidson, on display September 9 - October 4, 2013, in the Marian Art Gallery.

MILWAUKEE (August 28, 2013) – Mount Mary University will present work by artist Pat Hidson, September 9 - October 4, 2013 in the Marian Art Gallery. An opening reception will take place from 5-7 p.m. on Friday, September 13. The event is free and open to the public.

Hidson paints with acrylics on linen and uses rich color combinations for a textured effect. She explores the use of shape adapted from architecture, botany, art history, and archeology, combined with a love of animals. Hidson, who has exhibited her work for many years throughout Wisconsin, lives and teaches in Milwaukee. For more information on the artist, visit www.pathidson.com.
