Mount Mary University is committed to providing quality education and assisting you in acting on your dreams. Tuition for regular, full-time students includes academic instruction, lectures, laboratories, and student and academic support services. It also includes subscriptions to college publications and membership in the student government.

To be considered for all financial aid, you need  to submit the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). **Tuition deposit non-refundable after December 15 for spring term and May 1 for fall term. Your tuition deposit payment should be made via cash, check or through Transact Payments. If paying via cash or check, you MUST include your first and last name and student ID number to ensure we are able to process your payment.

While your cost of attendance will vary depending on your merit scholarships, grants and other forms of financial aid, Mount Mary University is committed to transparency around your cost of attendance.

General Fee

The general fee includes counseling services (academic and personal); career services and advising (mock interviews, resume writing workshops, interest inventories); parking pass; bus pass; e-mail account; attendance at athletic, campus ministry and student activities events; and use of the Student Success Center, library, computer lab and fitness center.

Food and Housing Fees

Mount Mary’s residence halls, Caroline Hall and Trinity Woods (for single mothers with children 11 or under) offers a variety of room options and other amenities. Applications for student housing must be filed with the Admission Office. 
  • Housing is subject to availability
  • $100 housing security deposit required with housing application
  • Contracts cover the entire academic year
    • Exceptions are made for mid-year graduates and new spring semester students
  • Fees include room accommodations and selected meal plans (unless noted), per semester
  • Two meal plans are available with each. Please refer to the dining page for more details.
  • All full-time traditional first year students who are not living at home with parents or immediate relatives must reside in University housing, if space is available.

  • Fall semester of your high school senior year – Apply for external scholarships.
  • October 1 – Begin completing your FAFSA
  • November – Mount Mary hosts events and individual appointments to help you and your family fill out the FAFSA and get your financial aid questions answered.
  • December 1 – Mount Mary’s priority deadline for submitting your FAFSA.
  • January/February – Mount Mary begins mailing financial aid award letters.

Explore open on-campus student jobs through MyMountMary (under the Finances tab, select Student Worker Positions). Keep in mind: 

  • A resume, application, and interview may be required. 
  • Wages vary depending on the job's complexity. 
  • Paychecks are issued semi-monthly and can help cover education expenses. 
  • You do not need to be awarded Federal Work-Study to work on campus. 
  • Federal Work-Study is a need-based financial aid program—check your financial aid award letter to see if you’re eligible.
