Generous Transfer Credit Policies

Mount Mary College welcomes college coursework from a wide variety of institutions. And we provide a very generous transfer credit policy.

From a two year or technical college, up to 64 credits can be transferred.

Mount Mary has a particular agreement with all the UW System Two Year Colleges. See which coursework automatically transfers from UWS to Mount Mary.

If you have attended a four year institution, there is no limit to the number of credits which can transfer to Mount Mary College. However, as with all colleges, Mount Mary has a particular set of core courses which need to be met for graduation. See which courses you have taken that align with Mount Mary's core requirements.

Please note that beginning Fall 2009, Mount Mary College will be implementing a global requirement. In some cases courses in a major field may fulfill this new requirement. Again, please speak with your Admission Counselor for specific details.

Before you schedule a meeting with one of Mount Mary's skilled Admission Counselors, be sure to have a copy of your previous college transcripts. With this information, we can provide an on-the-spot credit evaluation and you can know which classes will transfer to Mount Mary.
