"Renew, Refresh, Replace - The Challenge of the Other Three Rs"

“Renew – Refresh – Replace” is a focused fund-raising campaign that identifies key intiatives that, when addressed, will provide students with a strong learning environment that meets a wide variety of needs. This campaign includes such intiatives as

• reconstruction of the Campus Circle Drive
• an upgrade of technology equipment
• reconfiguration of the Haggery Library in order to create a Student Success Center/Learning Commons.

Phase I was launched July 1, 2008 and came to a successful close on June 30, 2009. For this phase, the School Sisters of Notre Dame, Milwaukee Province provided a generous lead gift of $1 Million. This gift was intended to encourage matching gifts from others.

Mount Mary College is proud and happy to announce that the Sisters’ gift has been successfully matched dollar for dollar – and was in fact exceeded by slightly more than $30,000. President Eileen Schwalbach is thankful to everyone who has helped make this campaign a success.

“Support that is given to the Three Rs will make a significant difference in the lives of our students,” said President Schwalbach. “These gifts ensure Mount Mary’s ability to provide women with an excellent education. For this level of vision and commitment, I am truly grateful.”

Phase II began on July 1, 2009 and will focus on such initiatives as

• replacing the windows in Notre Dame Hall
• relocating, updating, and expanding the Campus Child Care Cente.
