Certificate In Theology

The theology certificate program is available for students who have already earned an undergraduate degree and who now wish to pursue additional education in theology.

The theology certificate culminates with an exit interview following the completion of the required 40 credits-

• 4 credits earned from the prerequisite Search for Meaning course
• 36 credits drawn from the areas of biblical, historical, and systematic theology.
• 2 credits earned for the Synthesis Seminar (required of all majors)

Persons working in an area of ministry primarily serving children and youth may apply for a partial scholarship grant from the Archdiocese.

The theology department does not offer a certificate program in religious education.
