The first new building on the Mount Mary campus in nearly 20 years is the Gerhardinger Center. The 33,000 square-foot, three story Center features a cyber cafe, electronic lecture hall, and various meeting rooms on the main floor. The second and third floors house state-of-the-art nursing, occupational therapy, and science classrooms and laboratories.

The Gerhardinger Center was named to recognize the significant financial support given by the Milwaukee Province of the School Sisters of Notre Dame (SSND). The name honors Blessed Theresa Gerhardinger of Jesus, foundress of the SSND order.

MINDing the Future goals include:

• Revitalize classrooms and technology throughout the campus
• Enhance faculty development and expand existing scholarship funds
• Construct a Science, Technology, and Campus Center
• Create new social and recreational space
• Construct a Recreation Center
• Increase support of the Annual Fund
• Initiate a Women's Leadership Institute
