The Campus Activities Office coordinates many events throughout the year including

Orientation: Orientation is the first official day of class. Attendance is mandatory for new students to Mount Mary College.

Investiture: This ceremony dates back to 1931 and the very beginning of Mount Mary College. As part of this initiation each student is formally welcomed into the community by the college president.

Christmas on the Mount: This is a long standing tradition where college community comes together to celebrate the holiday season.

Late Night Brunch: Hosted twice a semester, this is a fun activity that unites students, faculty, and staff while enjoying a free breakfast.

Student Activities Fair (formerly Club Carnival): The annual Student Activities Fair is a great way to promote student organizations to the entire college or find new ways to get involved on campus.

Commencement/Step Singing: Step Singing has been a tradition at Mount Mary College since 1926. At this special event, graduates sing songs with fellow classmates and are treated to a special presentation from the faculty. The highlight of this affair is "The Exchange of Lights of Learning" where students acknowledge person(s) who have helped them achieve their academic goals with a special candle. Recipients can be a spouse, a parent, a child, a fellow student, or anyone.
