Student Involvement

social workSocial Work Club –
The Social Work Club is a very active student organization on campus. The club holds food drives each month and has a newsletter for members announcing upcoming events, providing information about field placements, continuing education, state certification, and updates from graduates on their professional work and activities.

Phi Alpha Honor Society –
Eligibility for initiation includes achieving a minimum of sophomore status with a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or better and a GPA of 3.25 in the social work major, completion of at least eight credits in required social work courses, and demonstration of leadership ability and a dedication to social work practice.
