Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) Policy

Mount Mary College and Federal Regulations require that a student be making satisfactory academic progress toward a degree to be eligible for financial aid.  The College’s SAP policy includes both a qualitative (cumulative GPA) and quantitative (maximum time frame for completion of an educational program) measure. The regulations govern all aid administered by Mount Mary College, including all Federal Title IV aid funds -

• Federal Stafford Loans
• Federal Plus Loans (PLUS)
• Federal Pell Grants
• Federal Supplemental Education Opportunity Grants
• Academic Competitiveness (ACG) Grant
• SMART Grant
• State grants and scholarships
• Institutional scholarships and grants
• Federal Work-Study
