The post-professional master's program serves as the basis for higher levels of inquiry and thinking about occupational therapy, health care systems and the development of new areas of practice. As a student, you learn to initiate and direct your own professional growth to further the development of occupational therapy.

Mount Mary understands that occupational therapists lead busy lives and has structured a program to fit into your life. . In an interactive format, you participate in live chats, threaded discussions, and write papers related to topics of your professional interests. We encourage sharing of professional experiences and reflection on current practice trends to promote your professional growth. Toward the end of the program, you will complete a master's thesis on a practice-related topic of your interest.

Students complete ten graduate courses (30 credits) using the Internet and two weekend residency experiences during the program. The program is open to both men and women who hold a bachelor's degree in occupational therapy and are practicing occupational therapists.
