Student Nurses Association
The Student Nurses Association is very active and regularly involved in service projects throughout the area. Past activities have included participation in the TV Fox 6 Holiday Toy Chest, assisting with battered women's shelter, and participating in local fundraising runs/walks.
The Student Nurses Association recently began a "Buddy Program" that pairs up junior and senior students with freshman and sophomore nursing students to serve as mentors.
Socially, the association holds pizza parties and picnics, and has attended Wisconsin Student Nurses Association events in the state.
Study Abroad Trip to Peru

National Honor Society
The Columbia College of Nursing-Mount Mary College Nursing Program, Tau Sigma chapter, has the distinction of being a part of the nursing honor society, Sigma Theta Tau International. The nursing honor society is comprised of chapters that are located on more than 469 college and university campuses in the United States and countries throughout the world, and 405,000 members have been inducted worldwide. Individual membership is by invitation to baccalaureate and graduate nursing students who demonstrate excellence in scholarship and to nurse leaders exhibiting exceptional achievements in nursing.
