| Mount Mary College offers a master's degree in education designed to meet the needs of music teachers. This 30-credit degree program allows music teachers to take 12 graduate credits in music in addition to the core courses of the graduate program. The program culminates with the development of an action research project designed for the music classroom.

- Music Cultures of the World
- History of Western Music - Early to 19th Century
- History of Western Music - Beethoven to Present
- Advanced Harmonic and Contrapuntal Essentials
- Orff Schulwerk Levels I and II
- Early Childhood Music
- Style and Analysis
- Choral Arranging
- General Music Practicum
The graduate project developed for use in your music classroom, may include:
- Implementing an instructional or assessment strategy, such as portfolio assessment
- Developing a curriculum project, such as an integrated unit combining music with other areas of the curriculum
