Campus Ministry

Rooted in connection to the charism of the School Sisters of Notre Dame (SSND), Campus Ministry strives to meet the needs of those connected to Mount Mary College and desires to serve our diverse community in multiple ways.

A faith-filled approach to life is encouraged and caring about one another is but one way to practice what we know to be true. Shalom Student Outreach provides learning about peace, justice, and bringing an approach to service that gives of ourselves.

Oftentimes, it takes a leap of faith to try something new, to join a group in prayer, or to learn more about how our relationship with the Divine influences our choices. If you have questions about faith and life, please see the Director of Campus Ministry on an individual, confidential discussion.

Campus Ministry events are open to students, faculty, and staff.

Spirituality Connections: including liturgies, ecumenical prayer services, retreats, and special events. Additional spiritual growth opportunities and formation sessions are part of the Ewens Spirituality Center offerings.

Service Connections: Shalom Student Outreach provides various opportunities and discussions regarding justice, peace, and service. Collecting food for a meal at a women's shelter, going to a day homeless shelter to bring lunch and give manicures, and sending money to Catholic Charities for hurricane relief are just some of the offerings.

Leadership and Community: Campus Ministry Peers help plan activities and are part of the implementation as well. Wild Waffle Wednesday is one example of community building, unconditional service, and free food!
