Business/Professional Communication Curriculum
Mount Mary University offers an accelerated Bachelor of Arts in Business/Professional Communication, degree program, as well as a post-baccalaureate certificate in business/professional communication. This program prepares you for business careers that require specialized communication skills.
The business/professional communication degree requires a minimum of 64 credits in business communication courses. You also must complete the university’s core curriculum requirements listed on the business/professional communication curriculum sheet (PDF).

Courses Taught by Experts
Instructors who are experts in their field teach all accounting courses. Courses cover topics such as accounting, finance, marketing, business ethics, management, interpersonal communication, organizational communication, technical writing and media writing.
Accelerated Schedule for Your Convenience
The business/professional communication program is offered in an accelerated format only. The accelerated format features courses in five, eight-week terms each year. Accelerated courses meet one night a week or on Saturdays. Accelerated terms start in January, June, October, March and August, so you can start at a time that’s convenient for you.
This option is designed for women who are currently employed, are pursuing a degree as an adult student or are transferring to Mount Mary from another institution. Students entering college directly from high school are not eligible for accelerated programs.
Business/Professional Communication Certificate Requirements
A post-baccalaureate certificate in business/professional communication is available to women who already hold an undergraduate degree, but seek further training. See more details on the business/professional communication certificate requirements.
