A valid Mount Mary College ID Card (or a valid ID Card from a SWITCH Consortium Libary) needs to be presented at each "Check-Out" transaction
Circulating material (except Reserve items) may be renewed if there is no "Hold" on the item; renewals may be done by phone at 414 256-0190, in person at the Circulation Desk, or at http://topcat.switchinc.org/patroninfo
Patrons are responsible for items checked-out in their name, for the payment of overdue charges and for replacement fees of lost items: "A student who is delinquent in tuition / fee payments (including parking fees and Library fines) is not entitled to grades, credits, transcripts or participation in graduation exercises." (Mount Mary College Bulletin, 2008-2010, p. 23)
Library privileges are not transferable.

Most Library items are loaned for 28 days, with shorter loans at the end of terms; AV items are loaned for 7 days; items from other SWITCH Libraries (DVDs, VHS Videos, CDs) may have shorter loan periods
Reserve items check out for 2-hours, 1-day, 3-day and 7-day loan periods; 2-hour Reserve Items are for "In-Library Use" only
Overdue notices are sent to a patron's email address, or MMC mailbox, or home address; failure to receive a notice does not alter a patron's responsibility to return items nor exempt a patron from overdue penalties
Overdue charges are $1.00 per day per item; the fine is not collected until the 10th day; after the 9th day, a $50.00 replacement fee AND a non-refundable $10.00 processing fee are charged; overdue charges for AV items are $1.00 per day per item; the fine is not collected until the 4th day; after the 4th day, a $65.00 replacement fee AND a non-refundable $10.00 processing fee are charged; replacement fees are waived if items are returned
Haggerty Library is to be a quiet place for study. Be considerate of others and keep conversation to a minimum; please leave the Library if you receive a cell phone call; set phones or pagers to vibrate or to silence while in the Library; when you leave the Library to make or take a call, take your belongings with you (Haggerty Library is not responsible for lost personal items)
No food or tobacco products are allowed in the Library
