Mount Mary College seeks to develop women who are leaders in their profession, church and community. Leadership is a relationship between an individual and the group or institution that the leader represents. The roles of leadership may vary from leading as the person in charge to leading as a participant in a group. Through leadership, a common vision can be established for the mission or task to be accomplished. Leaders inspire others and foster their gifts, encourage teamwork, promote mutual respect and serve as models.
