Scholarships and Awards

Students in the Arts and Design Division are encouraged to apply for the prestigious Layton Art Scholarship. Application deadlines for both new and continuing students are in January and February.

Awards

The Mount Mary College Interior Design Department students have been entering ASID and IIDA juried student competitions for many years. They are in competition with four-year accredited and associate degree programs in the state. Students win awards consistently.  In 2008 they won five of six ASID and one of three IIDA student awards.

In fall 2009, ASIA/IIDA members participated in the ASID Wisconsin Chapter Sustainable Challenge redesign of a dorm room at the Salvation Army Lodge. The Mount Mary Student Chapter received the Sustainable Challenge Award and completed the project under budget. See photos from the project on Flickr.
