Office for Graduate Education The mission of the Office for Graduate Education is to provide academic and professional advancement opportunities to women and men consistent with the institutional mission of Mount Mary College. We provide administrative support for graduate programs throughout the College, embrace new and emerging technologies, and promote excellence in graduate education for students and faculty. The Office for Graduate Education is committed to honoring the diversity of Mount Mary communities, fostering best practices for graduate education for faculty and students and establishing clear expectations for academic and professional excellence. For over 25 years, Mount Mary College has been offering graduate education. Beginning with the dietetics program which began in 1982, additional programs have been developed over the years in response to the changing nature of the professions, workplace demands, employer expectations, and demographic and market trends. The programs grew out of the strengths of undergraduate programs, faculty expertise and involvement in their professions. Mount Mary's graduate programs offer degrees, professional continuing education and advanced personal enrichment courses of study. Mount Mary currently offers seven master's degree programs and one professional doctorate degree program. Mount Mary provides graduate education that results in students who are committed to being critical and creative scholars, ethical and just human beings with global perspectives, and leaders who put knowledge into transforming action.
