Environmental Studies Minor Requirements

This interdisciplinary minor includes 18 credits with a foundation in environmental science. Required courses include -

• BIO/CHE/SCI 216 - 4 credits
• BIO 220 - 2 credits
• SCI 316 - 2 credits (capstone seminar course)

The remaining ten elective credits are chosen from designated courses offered in other disciplines. These electives must include one course in the area of communications and values, and one course related to society.

Students complete an environmentally related internship and compile a portfolio of their work related to environmental issues.
