Coordinated Program Application Information

The Mount Mary Coordinated Program accepts up to 18 students each year. Students apply to the Coordinated Program at the beginning of the spring semester of the sophomore sequence of the program. An application form and three recommendations are required along with a personal interview. Students are notified of acceptance into the program at the end of the spring semester.

To be eligible to apply for the Coordinated Program in Dietetics the following are required:

  1. Students must have a minimum overall grade point average of 2.75 on a 4 point scale.
  2. Students must have a minimum grade point average of 2.75 for all courses required for the major prior to admission to the Coordinated Program (listed below).
  3. All courses listed below must be completed by the end of the spring semester during which the application to the CP was submitted.
  4. A minimum of a "C" is required in all dietetic major courses.
  5. A student who has received a grade of less than "C" in two courses required for the major is no longer eligible to apply to the CP.
  6. A student who repeats a course required for the major and receives a grade of less than "C" both times will no longer be eligible to apply to the CP.

Prior to beginning the junior year of the program, students are required to complete 160 hours of dietetic related work experience.
