Theology Department
The quest to find meaning in the study of God and the relationship between God and the universe is the foundation of theology. Studying theology also can engage a person to develop his or her own faith perspective.

Mount Mary’s Theology Department offers students many opportunities to understand and find meaning in the Judeo-Christian tradition, while being open to both Christian and non-Christian viewpoints.

When studying theology at Mount Mary College you’ll:

Theology majors are encouraged to complete an internship to enrich their experiences outside the academic setting. Religious education students complete student teaching.

• Human services careers

For those who already have a bachelor’s degree, Mount Mary offers a theology minor and a Certificate in Theology. Studying theology compliments career fields such as education, social work, business, nursing and psychology.
