“I would recommend Mount Mary College to other students because there is an emphasis on one-on-one attention throughout all the departments on campus. I wasn't treated like a number.”

Dietetics Graduate Program
open to women and men*

The Master of Science in Dietetics is a 33-credit program designed for the Registered Dietitian who is a current practitioner seeking post-professional development.  Individuals who have completed the course work to be eligible to take the registration examination of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics may also apply.

Because the degree is in dietetics, graduate students should have an undergraduate degree in dietetics (find out about Mount Mary's coordinated undergraduate dietetics program), or the equivalent course work to be eligible to take the registration examination of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics.

Previous work experience in an area of dietetics or active Registered Dietitian (RD) status is highly recommended.

Program features:

  • Evening and weekend classes for working professionals
  • Flexible enrollment options- students may enroll as a master’s candidate or may take individual courses as desired
  • Some online and hybrid courses
  • Thesis and non-thesis option
