Communication Department

The ability to communicate and think critically constitutes a building block for success in any field or endeavor. In today's information-driven society, companies are actively recruiting workers who demonstrate strong communication and analytical skills. In fact, many employers rank these skills at the top of their job requirement list.

The Communication Department at Mount Mary College prepares students for a wide variety of careers involving interaction with people and organizations. Our outstanding program combines the benefits of a liberal arts foundation with a strong focus on either communication or public relations. Academic coursework is enhanced through internships, campus leadership opportunities, and contact with professionals in these fields.

At Mount Mary, students receive the educational background they need to pursue a variety of career paths or advanced study. Faculty members offer support and guidance along the way, helping each student map out a plan to meet her individual interests and goals.
