| Personal counseling services are offered to Mount Mary students free of charge. Short-term counseling is offered for a variety of personal concerns including

- multiple roles and responsibilities
- time management
- anxiety
- depression
- loss
- relationships
- food and body image concerns
- substance abuse
- stress
- life skills
- self-esteem
- motivation and concentration
- decision making and goal setting
- procrastination
- assertiveness
- and more!
Referrals to outside mental health service providers will be made if long-term counseling is needed. The Counseling Center adheres strictly to the legal standards of Wisconsin and the ethical standards of the counseling profession. Issues discussed during counseling are kept in confidence. This confidence can be broken only when legal and ethical standards dictate or if written permission is granted.
The Counseling Center has a library with materials on a variety of topics such as body image, anxiety and stress, family/parenting, self-esteem, anger, depression and loss. Classes and seminars are also held periodically throughout the year.
Individual appointments are encouraged. Walk-in appointments are available on a limited basis.
Mondays and Wednesdays - 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Tuesdays and Thursdays - 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
