With a strong interest in interior design, Trish transferred to Mount Mary after her previous school’s interior design degree program was closed.
The decision to switch schools quickly proved to be a boon, as faculty members here helped her land an internship at an architecture firm. That experience, in turn, helped her earn her first job after graduation with the same firm. Later, she moved into sales with textiles company Designtex, where she’s been thriving for 17 years.
Today, Trish remains close to many classmates from Mount Mary, crediting the real-world experiences and connections she gained here with providing exactly the foundation she needed to kick-start a great career. That’s why she returns every year as a guest speaker and hosts mentor day for MMU students at her offices, helping to continue the legacy of success for future generations.
