Mount Mary College is proud of our history of educating women leaders. Today we are proud of the following accomplishments by members of the college community -

Geneva Johnson, Mount Mary's Women's Leadership Institute Advisory Board Chair and Trustee Emeritus, was recently invited to speak at Tempo's Mentoring Kickoff Event in January. See Tempo's newsletter, Upbeat, for additional information.

Cathy Ritterbusch, chair of the Justice Program, is being honored in April by Marquette University's Law School with the Howard B. Eisenberg Service Award.

Teaching in Excellence -

Mount Mary College presented the 2009 Teaching Excellence Award to deserving faculty members, Wendy Weaver and Nan Metzger. In the past three years, five members of the English Department faculty, shown here with the year of the award, have received this distinguished award.

Two Mount Mary faculty members receive national recognition for their work. Read the release.

Dr. Bruce Moon, Chair and Graduate Program Director, Art Therapy Department, is awarded the Buckeye Art Therapy Association's Honorary Life Member Award.

Dr. Lynn Woehrle, Associate Professor, Behavioral Science/Sociology, received the "Best Journal Article of 2008 Award" by the American Sociological Association Section on Peace, War and Social Conflict.

Mount Mary Occupational Therapy program graduate student, Arti Berry, has recently been named Chairperson for the Wisconsin Arthritis Action Council, 2009-2011, based on work she has done for the Arthritis Inventory and her participation as a council member.
