Art Therapy Career Opportunities Art therapy is a human service profession that uses the therapeutic tools of art, imagination, and the healing relationship to help people connect with their inner resources, resolve problems, and revitalize their lives. Through the creative process of art making, art therapists help people learn about themselves, express feelings and communicate with one another. Art therapists work with individuals and groups of people of all ages in a broad range of counseling and related settings.
