the technology in art program will provide students with the opportunities to:

1. utilize technological resources to gather information, solve problems, satisfy curiosity, experiment with processes, and appreciate the joy of learning, inventing, and creating.

2. recognize that technological tools can be utilized in artistic expression.

3. recognize the relationship of physical tool handling (traditional media) to its counterpart in technological software programs and devices.

4. develop, strengthen, and apply critical thinking in the use of technological devices in art making.

5. recognize and utilize technology as a resource in understanding and appreciating the historical and cultural aspects of art.

6. utilize technology in experimenting, recording,and saving the process of artmaking for analysis and evaluation.

7. engage in activities that will explore, extend , deepen, enhance, and nurture creative visual expression.

8. utilize technology to create multimedia presentations with artistic design as their basic purpose.

9. demonstrate knowledge and appropriate care of technology equipment.
