WINDOW

FOCUS:

"Journey of the Magi" by

Sassetta depicts the caravan of

travelers guided by a star. This

symbol led people from their own

countries to a foreign land. In

their pursuit of truth, they

surrendered comfort and security;

they traveled in faith.

The fifth grade child is led

by the teacher to search for

signs and symbols that will guide

him/her on the path to TRUTH also.

These signs vary from the simple

Sign of the Cross to the deep mys-

tery of the Eucharist.
