VISUAL ARTS ESSENTIAL SKILLS
WINDOW FOCUS: The artist, Giotto, in his"Madonna and Child" depicts a happy mother receiving tiny flowers from her little son. Although the pose is formal, the artist portrays love in this simple gesture. Belonging to a family, being unique and special, is embodied in this work. Likewise, the first grade child is encouraged to see relationships in the wider range of life experiences and to express them through art. |
