Applying for Financial Aid

Applying for financial aid can seem like a daunting task but with the assistance of the Mount Mary College Financial Aid Office staff you will be successful in securing financial assistance for your education.

Make sure you apply for financial aid as soon as possible and reapply each year you need aid.

The Financial Aid Office has broken down the steps to apply into manageable steps. Download - Steps to Apply for Aid.

Step 1: Apply for your PIN
Step 2: File your FAFSA
Step 3: Review your Student Aid Report
Step 4: Turn in missing documentation to the Financial Aid Office
Step 5 - Receive and understand your award letter. Return a signed copy to the Financial Aid Office.
Step 6 - For new Federal Stafford Loan borrowers, you must complete your entrance counseling and a master promissory note.
Step 7 - For Perkins loan borrowers, you must sign a promissory note in the Business Office each semester.

Also, use the financial aid calculator to determine how much school will cost, how much you need to save and how much aid you'll need.
