Learn. Celebrate. Give. You’re invited to reunite with your classmates and professors at our annual Alumnae Weekend in the fall to celebrate your achievements and the achievements of your classmates, as well as to enjoy several Mount Mary community events.

Tuesday, October 8
6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.—Alumnae Athlete Night: All former athletes and your families are invited to this special night to honor Mount Mary athletes during a Blue Angel’s volleyball match at Mount Mary’s Bloechl Recreation Center.Wednesday, October 9
5:30 to 7:30 p.m.—SSND Soirée: Join us at the SSND Motherhouse in Elm Grove, Wis., to view the new “Stories from Our Sisters: A Mount Mary Centennial Treasury” film, plus tour the Motherhouse, visit with the sisters, and enjoy wine and appetizers with your SSND hostess.Thursday, October 10
5 :00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.—Graduate School Reception: You are invited for an evening on campus to reconnect with faculty and fellow alumnae of our master’s degree programs.
6 :00 p.m. to 8 :00p.m.—“The Story of Mount Mary” Exhibit Grand Opening: The Marian Art Gallery will feature a new centennial celebration exhibit October 10 through November 23. Join us for the exhibit’s grand opening reception.

Friday, October 11
11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.—Fall TransForum: At Discovery World in Milwaukee, this year’s fall forum features Mona Sutphen, a Milwaukee native and former Deputy Chief of Staff to the Obama administration and adviser to the president on domestic policy and international issues. Sutphen currently heads the macro analysis team in the wealth management division of UBS.
4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.—50 Years of Fashion: Gather to honor S. Aloyse Hessburg in a reception prior to her receiving the Golden Needle Award at the Alumnae Awards Night.
6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.—Alumnae Awards Night: Join with your classmates and the Mount Mary community to honor Madonna Medal and Tower Award winners for 2013 and the past 100 years.
Saturday, October 12
7:00 a.m. to 8:30 a.m.—Sunrise Yoga on the Mount: Join an alumna who is a yoga instructor for a morning of meditation and yoga in Mount Mary’s Bloechl Recreation Center.
8:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m.—Tea with the Sisters: Enjoy a cup of tea and time to talk with School Sisters of Notre Dame.
9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.—Alumnae Get in the Classroom: Sign up to participate in a 2-hour morning class to enhance your skills or explore a new hobby.

“Receiving the Alumnae Association Scholarship profoundly impacted my educational career. My dad was diagnosed with aggressive lymphoma last year and passed away shortly after. Without this scholarship, I wouldn’t have been able to afford to go to the only college I considered attending. It was a reward for all the success that I achieved in high school, but more than that, it was a blessing upon my family and me in a time of financial and emotional despair.”
9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.—Camp Mount Mary: While you attend alumnae classes and activities, your kids can play sports or participate in yoga for kids led by Mount Mary student-athletes.
9:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.—Arches Showcase: Learn more about the history of Mount Mary’s award-winning student newspaper and how it has evolved over time. Tour the newsroom, view old issues and meet current and former staff members. You can even be interviewed by a student reporter, which will be posted on the Arches website.
11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.—Picnic with the President: Enjoy an all-campus picnic in the courtyard.
11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.—Marian Club Luncheon: The Marian Club recognizes alumnae who graduate 50 or more years ago from Mount Mary. See this year’s inductees be honored and receive their Marian Club pins.
1:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.—Pictures and Free Time

4:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.—Alumnae Mass: Attend Mass at Our Lady Chapel on the Mount Mary campus.
Various Evening Times—Class Dinners: Attend your anniversary class’s private dinner on or off campus.
7:00 p.m.—Young Alumnae Night on the Town: Start the evening at the Historic Third Ward condo of Lynn Sprangers, Mount Mary Vice President for Communications and Community Engagement, and Mike Gousha, a top Milwaukee area TV journalist. Finish the night exploring the Historic Third Ward in downtown Milwaukee.
10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.—Centennial Brunch: Enjoy a Sunday brunch with your other alumnae and their families to wrap up the reunion weekend.
