Thursday, March 18, 2010 -Wisconsin Go Lead - Join other women interested in running for office or who want to work on campaigns at this interactive discussion, 5:30 p.m. - 8:00 p.m., Gerhardinger Center, Room 109. The event is free and open to the public. Register now.

This event is provided by a collaboration between the White House Project, the Women's Fund of Greater Milwaukee and the Women's Leadership Institute of Mount Mary College.

Wednesday, March 24: The Mount Mary College Women's Leadership Institute will host a civil rights lecture honoring "Virginia Huebner: A Badger State Maverick," Wisconsin's first official civil rights champion. Presented by Jim Hahn of the Waukesha County Historical Society and Museum, 7:00 p.m., North Dining Room. Admission is $3, tickets available for purchase at the door only. Advance registration is required by email.

Thursday, April 22, 2010 - The Face of Success: Ethical and Courageous Leadership

The Mount Mary College Alumnae Office teams up with the Women's Leadership Institute to offer this leadership lecture featuring JoAnne Brandes, attorney and consultant in leadership development. JoAnne was named "Working Mother of the Year" by Working Mother Magazine for her efforts in developing corporate child care. The facilitator for this event is Carla Rutley, president of Rutley Group, LLC., which provides consulting in business development and public relations services.
