The Women's Leadership Institute, in collaboration with women leaders in Milwaukee and throughout Wisconsin, seeks to provide programs, resources and mentoring for women in the greater Milwaukee area.

Tuesday, February 7 - Valentine's Day Cooking Class
Women's Leadership Institute teams up with Alumnae Relations
to offer this class as part of the new "Out for the Evening" monthly Women's Enrichment Series. The class includes recipes for Parmesan Risotto, Eggplant Crostini, Shrimp Flambé, dessert and chocolate martini. Participants will have the opportunity to sample all recipes.

June 5-10 - NEW Leadership™ Wisconsin
A six-day intensive residential experience held on the Mount Mary College campus where participants learn from and interact with women involved in politics and policymaking and work with educators and experts in the fields of leadership, history, politics, diversity, social issues and more.

NEW Leadership™ Wisconsin is an annual, intensive, six-day residential summer institute on the campus of Mount Mary College in Milwaukee.
Women’s Leadership Institute Spring Forum - The Face of Success, One Woman’s Leadership Journey
This event featured Marie O’Brien, ’08, President and CEO-Enterforce and 2010 Entrepreneurial Woman of the Year as keynote. Following the keynote, panelists were moderated by Lynn Sprangers, Mount Mary College Executive in Residence for Women's Leadership.
Benchmarking Women's Leadership, Closing the Leadership Gap
This event featured Marie C. Wilson, founder and president of The White House Project, co-creator of "Take our Daughters and Sons to Work Day" and author of Closing the Leadership Gap: WhyWomen Can and Must Help Run the World (Viking 2004).
Wilson was on a national tour discussing this White House Project report which looks at the status of women's leadership across ten sectors, from business and politics tomedia and military, and provides sector specific recommendations from top experts to close the leadership gap.
